Sliding with RPT

Nexus 110 RPT

Perimeter sliding door with RPT

Nexus 110 RPT from Innaltech is a minimalist perimeter sliding system with thermal break (RPT). Robust and easy to manufacture, it features double corner reinforcements in the frame and sash, the latter also including an additional screw to enhance fixing security.

It has a minimalist aesthetic that seeks to maximize light, space, and views. This effect is achieved through a larger glass surface and a reduction of lateral and central structural elements. The front of the frame is completely smooth, and the sashes overlap it. This closing design gives the sliding system an appearance very close to that of a casement window, thus unifying the styles of all the home’s enclosures.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Maximum sash weight: 350 kg
  • Frame dimensions: 86.2 mm
  • Frame plus two sashes dimensions: 106 mm
  • Maximum glass thickness: 38 mm
  • General profile thickness: 1.5 mm
  • Thickness in specific working areas: 2.2 mm

TECHNICAL FEATURES

This is a perimeter sliding system with thermal break (RPT), featuring double corner reinforcements in the sash but still lightweight and aesthetic, with a panoramic crossing of only 37 mm. It allows glass up to 38 mm thick in its closed sash version, including double-glazing insulation glass such as “TRIPLEX.” It also offers the option of glazed sashes with beadings, greatly facilitating installation.

Its powerful bearings match the heavy glass that the Nexus 100 RPT can accommodate. They can support weights close to 400 kg per sash. To bear this weight, the frame is designed to be reinforced with a specific accessory. The bearings slide smoothly on stainless steel tracks, preventing unnecessary wear on both the tracks and the bearing wheels. For more information about the bearings, please visit www.woorbel.com.

The innovative PVC “totem” system located in the center of the frame enhances the RPT functions of the system. It also allows the use of an additional sealing brush between the frame and the sash. Laterally, the sash allows for the placement of sealing rubber. All of this contributes to improved tightness and airtightness.

At the same time, the “totem” system eliminates the need to place the traditional and cumbersome windbreaks on the frame. These are located on the central covers of the panoramic crossing. These covers are installed at the last stage of assembly, once the entire enclosure is finished. This innovation greatly improves the assembly process and fine-tuning of the sliding system.

The Nexus 100 RPT sashes feature the innovation of self-sliding polyamides. These can channel and cushion the harmful effects of differential expansion between the interior and exterior of the building. Thus, the problem of sash warping, with its known negative consequences, is largely mitigated. Considering the price difference, this option is recommended to avoid problems in the future.

The Nexus 100 RPT offers the option to install the “Raised Channel” feature (patented by Grifell Pons, SL). This proven system significantly improves thermal and acoustic coefficients and substantially enhances water tightness performance. The “Raised Channel” is presented in the Nexus 100 RPT in its second generation, doubling its placement within the PVC “totem.”

The enclosure is secured with a multi-point locking system with hooks. These enter into a stainless steel plate fully integrated inside the smooth, flush frame. The multi-point system features “anti-false maneuver” technology. The locking handles open at 20º, facilitating the sliding sash push.

Nexus 100 RPT allows embedding the frame into the floor and walls. This option includes specific thermal break premounts. The water drainage and channel system can be used independently of installing these premounts. This option provides better ergonomics and integration between the home and the sliding enclosure, granting greater functionality and spaciousness.

Nexus 100 RPT has a minimalist aesthetic designed to maximize light, space, and vision. This is achieved through larger glass surfaces and a reduction in central structural elements. The frame front is completely smooth, and the sashes overlap it. This closing method gives the sliding system an appearance very close to a casement window, unifying the design of all home enclosures.

Innaltech supplies the complete range of accessories for this system. All our systems are fully integrated digitally regarding material breakdown, cut optimization, manufacturing sheets, and CE marking labels. Automation of cutting and machining in CNC centers is also possible. The software is available in Spanish, Catalan, and French.
