Nexus 120 RPT (NT12) is a sliding system with minimalist lines that evolves from the NT11 design, offering the possibility of a panoramic or traditional perimeter crossing with a thermal break (RPT).
It is designed for Galandage-type enclosures, allowing the leaves to be completely concealed inside the wall, with configurations of up to three leaves. This solution is particularly valued by specifiers, as it allows for complete openings with no visible structural elements, maximizing integration with the environment.
It supports glazing up to 46 mm, including double-chamber insulating glass such as “TRIPLEX.” Its glazing beads greatly facilitate glass installation, optimizing assembly times and ensuring a precise, high-quality finish.
The Liftable version can support panels weighing up to 500 kg, thanks to the use of a set of additional wheels and the LIFT UNIT lifting kit, ensuring smooth movement even with large dimensions.
In this configuration, the closure system consists of perimeter seals distributed throughout the panel, ensuring excellent air and water tightness.
The specific lift hardware allows the panel to be raised by approximately 7 mm, which releases the pressure on the rubber seals during the maneuver and significantly facilitates sliding, providing greater comfort of use, system durability, and precise operation.
.
The In-Line option incorporates an adjustable bearing from Woorbel’s 17 series, with a capacity to support up to 350 kg per leaf. Both the bearings in the Liftable version and those in the In-Line version move smoothly on stainless steel rails, minimizing wear on both the rails themselves and the wheels.
In the In-Line configuration, the enclosure is sealed with TRIFINT brush strips, while the side of the panel can also incorporate rubber seals, providing a high level of airtightness, insulation, and comfort.
The enclosure is secured with a multi-point locking system with hooks that fit into a stainless steel plate fully integrated into the frame, offering a clean, smooth finish without protrusions. The multi-point locking system is available in two versions: with or without an “anti-false maneuver” system. In the version with this system, the operating cremone bolts open 20 degrees, making it easier to push the sliding panel.
.
The sliding door incorporates an innovative PVC “totem” system, located in the center of the frame, which enhances the system’s thermal break (RPT) performance. It also allows for the addition of an extra sealing strip between the frame and the leaf, improving insulation and interior comfort.
This system also eliminates the need for traditional windbreaks, which are now integrated into the central covers of the junction and installed in the final stage of assembly, once the enclosure is completely finished. This solution significantly optimizes the installation and adjustment process of the sliding door.
The Nexus 120 RPT, like the rest of the solutions in the Nexus range, allows for the incorporation of the “Elevated Channel” option, patented by Grifell Pons. This system significantly increases thermal and acoustic coefficients, as well as substantially improving water tightness. In this version, the “Raised Channel” option is now in its second generation, with double integration within the PVC “totem,” offering superior performance compared to the previous version.
